Arishonna

When Naldela was thirteen, she discovered a tiny, left cocoon in a deserted watchspider nest. She carefully tended to the cocoon, keeping it hidden from everyone. Years later, after Arishonna's disastrous raid on their home, Naldela could no longer keep her secret companion a secret.
To protect her newfound friend, Naldela crafted a suit of armor in her favorite colors: black and purple. The armor, though simple and inexpensive, was made of copper and silver, providing some protection for her companion's head, back, and legs.

While Naldela's companion was friendly and gentle with everyone in the Teleyal family, she would only allow Naldela to mount or touch her.
In 1466 DR, Arishonna fled the city when the Menzoberranzan guards began capturing watchspiders to train and enslave them.

In 1489 DR, Naldela's companion witnessed her escape from Drezz'Lynur with Jhanae. Secretly following them, she waited for the right moment to reveal herself. On Alturiak 20, 1489 DR, when she was certain it was Naldela, she emerged from the shadows to aid the group, rescuing them from a dangerous predicament.
