Even at an early age, Claudia's preference for aggressive behavior was evident. When she was eight years old, she savagely murdered both of her parents after escaping from the cage they had put her in. Her penchant for violence has remained and proved very useful, with her knowledge of deception and intimidation, in her role as a bounty hunter when her targets no longer need to be delivered alive.

Following her parents' deaths, she spent her time exploring the Underdark cities on her own, gradually becoming ready to embark on paid hunts. With frequent assistance from elite guards from prominent Drow houses, she rose to become one of the top hunters in the Underdark. Due to the high expense of her services — even for powerful houses — she is typically hired when others have failed or when the victim has to be assassinated unquestionably.
Although she unintentionally summoned a Boggle, she managed to brainwash and enslave it. The Boggle's power allows her to create portals for short distances, which she frequently uses. It rarely leaves the Underdark since it can't keep up with her speed when she's in her ghoul form.

She improved her shapeshifting skills so that she can change from a human to a ghoul in seconds and be ready for fight right away. People called her a gravetouched flesh seeker ghoul because she often strikes quietly and doesn't think twice about eating people. Her preferred method for murdering people is to rip out their throats.

Due to her unsuccessful attempt to hunt down Naldela, she was forced to relocate her family, including her Drow partner Tarzyr Jhalass and their 9-year-old daughter Yasmih, from their small home near the marketplace in Menzoberranzan to an undisclosed location within the Underdark.
