The shield is a composite creation, forged from a combination of metals. While it incorporates traces of mithral, similar to her dagger, the bulk of its composition consists of steel and obsidian. This combination results in a shield that is both exceptionally sturdy and heavy.
When under siege, Miara can strategically ram the shield into the ground, reinforcing it with earth magic to create a formidable stone wall. This defensive barrier is capable of withstanding even heavy magical bombardment.
The shield is inscribed with a rune that makes it impossibly heavy for anyone other than the owner to lift. Additionally, another rune grants the wearer the ability to see through the shield's gems when seeking protection behind it.
Miara's sword, forged from pure obsidian, is deceptively heavy for a one-handed weapon. She often drags the tip along the ground to compensate for its weight. While the obsidian blade lacks the razor-sharp edge of other metals, its weight and force make it a formidable weapon capable of inflicting severe injuries.
In combat, Miara creatively utilizes her sword to lift stones from the ground and hurl them at her opponents.
Miara has invested a significant portion of her wealth in this sword, making it an invaluable possession she never leaves her side. She even sleeps with it by her bedside.
