When we passed a waterfall, we took another rest. They represented an expression of elegance and power of nature, I have been fascinated by since I was a child. Watching the water tirelessly made its way down the steps and finally hitting the lake was always a source of calm for me. A sound that always invited me to dream.
»Hey, Love of my Life? Just the two of us under the waterfall? Interested?« Ykril grinned naughtily while stroking my butt.
He knew pretty well about my preferences for such waterfalls. Especially when they were as secluded and blessed with a pristine, idyllic landscape like this one.
Suddenly, images of Tarlyn and the prison flashed through my mind, and I dismissed Ykril in a panic just as he was about to take me in his arms.
»No« it came distraught from me before I hastily returned to the camp we had set up a few yards away, left him behind, and sat down at the fire. Staring into the flames tried to get the images out of my head again. It had been over a year now, and still, these images tormented my thoughts. Why couldn't I just put it behind me?

Ykril took me in his arms from behind, put his warm hands on my belly, and nestled his cheek against mine. He said nothing but was simply there.
»Don't you care why?« I asked quietly
»When you're ready to talk about it, I'm here for you!« he whispered softly in my ear and gave me a tender kiss on my cheek.
I breathed a sigh of relief and went with him back to the waterfall, where Sanise was happily splashing around. When we sat next to each other and paddled with our feet in the water, I gathered all my courage and told him every detail of how my imprisonment came about.
He made it easier for me than expected with his unusual calm. Holding me in his arms the whole time and drying my tears, he showed me an outstanding level of understanding and consideration. I leaned my head against his shoulder, closed my eyes, listened to the water hitting the lake, and felt the beating of his heart as I stroked his chest. Even though the serious topic, I thought about whether I should satisfy his wish after all. He seemed to be very taken with the idea, and I felt that the past would not repeat with him.

»Sanise. Come out of there.« I heard Miara mumbling at the edge of the lake further away from us. I saw Sanise look at us only briefly and comply with Miara's demand without any objections in the corner of my eye.
»Let's leave them alone for a bit!« came only quietly from Miara, before both disappeared towards the camp
I took the opportunity, hesitantly dropped my clothes, and got into the refreshing water. Ykril smiled at me and visibly enjoyed the view I offered him. His restraint was very unusual from him, that I decided to be more explicit with my hints. Lolling in front of the waterfall, with my back to Ykril and looking over my shoulder at him with a smirk, I heard soft voices coming from the brush at the edge of the lake.
»Sanise, that's enough. Leave them.« Miara grumbled
»But look how gracious she is!«
The noise stopped for a moment, and finally, Ykril seemed to have understood my hints. He left his clothes behind and came towards me. I held my arms up, let him step close to me from behind, and closed my eyes with pleasure as his lips roamed just as tenderly over my neck as his hands caressed my breasts.
»Enough spying. We're leaving now!« I heard Miara muffling in the background, and after the bush came to rest again, only a quiet chirping, the waterfall, and the relaxed breathing of Ykril, who began to explore my body with one hand, could be heard. I let my head fall relaxed on his shoulder, enjoying his hand meandering up my neck to my chin, turning my face to his, so we could kiss passionately.

We both came very relaxed back to the camp. Finally, more than just this secret sleeping bag fumbling again. Sanise grinned cheekily at me while letting her stick bread burn over the fire. As if she had something to hide.
»Why are you smiling at me so fascinated?« I asked, but I wasn't sure I wanted to know the answer
»Nothing« she replied, grinning wider and wider
»Do I get the little brother now?« she blurted out excitedly after a short break, after which Miara spat out her ale again in surprise
