This contribution describes the events on Eleint 22, 1488DR from the view of Nimri

I love it when my pretty one and I can wander the streets alone. Finally spending time with her without Sanise yelling in my ears. While we strolled through the marketplace, I snuggled up to her neck and watched the people. Luckily for my vocal, she's not being mobbed by potential marriage material today and I don't have to hiss permanently.
She stopped at a tailor shop and examined a dress in the window. Admittedly, it is a really amazing dress and I would love to see her in it. But I can't dance and it doesn't make sense for her alone. I rolled my eyes slightly disappointed and looked at the woman who was tugging at the dress. If this was the dressmaker?

Suddenly Naldela was addressed again. The young man who bumped into us some days ago. I hissed briefly before listened to their conversation.
»Uhm - I noticed you earlier at the market place and« he said in a slightly shaky voice before he continued with a new sentence »I wanted to ask if I'm allowed to invite you for a drink?«
›Ha. You certainly won't end up with my pretty one when you're this insecure‹ I thought to myself and as it seemed, I also got my confirmation right away
»You want what?« she asked carefully.
»Never mind. Please forgive the disturbance.« he said and turned around.
›Right, go away!‹ immediately shot through my head and my tongue out, but she suddenly grabbed his arm ›Hey, what are you doing? Let him go!‹ If only I could speak. She giggled briefly, but agreed to join him for a cup of tea. Should I join them too, or rather go back to the tavern? I went along. Only to see him failing.

They talked and talked and talked for hours. If only I were capable of speaking too, I would be able to have so many lovely conversations with her. Suddenly, he started to talk about a soiree. ›Ha. In this society you'll never manage to get a Drow on such a noble chicimiki!‹ I laughed inwardly and I thought I didn't hear right when she accepted his invitation on the condition that he manage to get her onto this noble thing. I wonder if she also hoped he wouldn't make it?
